Tunes I’ve been listening to in June 2012

A bit more chilled out this month – it’s been quite hectic at work so it’s been less about dirty noise and more about nice melody (and some dirty noise)…

That said,  Beardyman’s new video starts the line up:

Beardyman Vs. Doorly – “Vampire Skank”

Great use of puppets and “Wub wub wub wub wub wub wub wub wub”….Jump to 1 minute 20 if you prefer to cut to the chase…

Jeffrey Lewis – Roll Bus Roll

Went to see him at the How The Light Gets In Festival and was really impressed – he’s now got a coveted spot in the car’s CD changer

Blue Foundation – Eyes On Fire (Zeds Dead Remix)

Another great remix from Zeds dead – you can’t really fault them

Dan le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip – Get Better

An oldie but a goodie…

TC – Where’s My Money (Caspa Remix)

Theme tune from “phoneshop”….absolutely great!

Mumford and Sons – Live at Glastonbury 2011

…This is the full concert from Glastonbury 2011.  It’s an hour long so not the usual “tune” entry – but I’ll make an exception as I was there….and I loved it…Yes, I may have had one too many ciders…

….They say you can’t rave to folk music….I beg to differ:-)
